Kia Soul EV in Ashington Northumberland

Built to inspire your adventures, the Soul EV delivers impressive range, power, and technology. The 64kWh battery is good for 280 miles of range, and you can top up from 0-80% in 54 minutes at a 100kW charger. The 201bhp electric motor is impressive with Drive Mode Select (Eco, Eco+, Sport) to tune response, and Kia’s latest driver assistance systems come as standard, including Adaptive Smart Cruise Control, Lane Follow Assist, and Blind Spot Detection to semi-automate some of your journeys.

There are two trims available, Urban and Explore. Urban models boast 17" alloy wheels, an 8" touchscreen display, and an integrated reversing camera system. Explore models top the range with a 10.25" Touchscreen Satellite Navigation, heated front seats and steering wheel, and an auto-diming rear-view mirror.

Design

Boxy and distinctive, the Soul EV is as distinctive at it gets. LED headlights, roof bars, 17” alloy wheels and bi-tone paint with a black roof (optional) ensure you stand out. Inside, the cockpit is plush, with an ergonomic layout and huge space.

Drive

The 201bhp/395Nm electric motor is a fantastic performer, and the 64kWh battery delivers enough range to squash anxiety (280-miles). The near-silent, smooth drive is a pleasure, and the Soul EV has over 10 driving aids to make things easy.

Practicality

Thanks to its boxy shape, the Soul EV boasts outstanding headroom and legroom. The boot capacity stands at 315-litres, and you can fold the rear seats 60-40. Young families are well-served by twin ISOFIX mounting points on the rear seats.

Living with it

You can schedule/control charging sessions and pre-condition the cabin with the Kia Connect app, and all models have Apple CarPlay & Android Auto with voice control for full smartphone integration. Running costs are as low as 3p per mile.
